Cermix produces on two sites a long way apart, at Desvres and at Avignon. The brief was for an image library, with a rare freedom: a free hand on the way of looking. No imposed shot list, no boxes to tick.
What I looked for there was the atmosphere, and what sets each site apart: the light, the materials, the way each place is organised. People appear, but they were not the brief. That is what makes this series different from the others.
