Miroiterie Dubrulle, trading as Cevinoglass, processes flat glass for architecture and interior fitting. The company had no image base of its own and relied on generic visuals showing workshops that were not theirs and installations that were not theirs either.
The brief was to build a complete, reusable image library covering the trades, the people, the teams and the premises. With one particularity: glass only makes sense once it is installed. So the commission included shoots at several clients, both B2B and B2C, to document the whole chain rather than the workshop alone.
A working workshop, large panes being handled, safety and circulation to respect at all times. At the clients’ sites, as many different locations to cover in a short time, with lighting imposed by the architecture and permissions to obtain on the spot, from people who had not commissioned the reportage.
The brief was for an image library, so for an organised set rather than a one-off selection: trades, people, teams, premises, and installations at clients, sorted by use. The images are delivered in several formats, from web to print, with permissions collected on site, including at the clients where the shoots took place.
