Two founders, a concert hall, an idea that needs no explaining.
A leadership portrait for the press after a first funding round, extended the following year to the teams and the company's landmark moments.
Kestra builds a data orchestration platform. After a first funding round of 8 million euros, the two directors needed a joint portrait they could use with the press and with the media. Nothing they had stood up at that level of exposure.
The company's name calls up the orchestra, and their platform plays the conductor for computer systems. Rather than a neutral backdrop, the session took place in a concert hall. The idea does not illustrate the product. It gives the two of them a setting that says what they do without their having to say it.

A concert hall is not a studio: mixed light, stage equipment in place, a slot constrained by the programme. Two people to direct together, which is harder than a single portrait. The images had to be publishable by newsrooms straight away, so multiple crops and formats from the shoot onwards.
Press and media, company communication. The collaboration continued the following year with the teams and the company's landmark moments, which widened the image library well beyond the leadership portraits.
